Five Ukrainian soldiers die since beginning of spring ceasefire in Donbas

Since the beginning of the ceasefire in Donbas combat zone, five Ukrainian servicemen died, as Ukraine’s representative to the Trilateral Contact Group Yevhen Marchuk stated, RBK-Ukraine reported.

“I guess I have to speak about losses. Combat casualties of the staff of the Joint Forces Operation over this period are as follows: five died, 15 were injured.It's 20 people since March 8 in total,” Marchuk stated.

Since the ceasefire began, the militants performed 60 attacks at the positions of Armed Forces of Ukraine. Marchuk stressed that the enemy was firing from the weapons, which had to be withdrawn from the demarcation line.

As it was reported, since March 8 midnight, a ceasefire in Donbas conflict zone came into force. It was earlier agreed by the security subgroup of the contact group on settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
