The combat actions in Donbas took the life of Mykola Semeniuk, the Junior Sergeant of the 72nd Detached Motorized Brigade. This is mentioned in the message on the military unit's Facebook page.

'Mykola Ivanovych Semeniuk, callsign Said, our warrior from the brigade deceased during the combat mission, because of the enemy attacks by the pro-Russian terrorists yesterday, January 14', the message said.

The battle-hardened veteran served with the Ukrainian military since 2014. He saw action near Starohnativka, Avdiivka and Svitlodarsk bulge.

Semeniuk was born on November 28, 1973. He is survived by his wife and two little children; he also had a brother and parents.
