The crews of Smerch multiple launch rocket systems held an exercise in Donbas, outside the combat area.

The drills took place under the order of Serhiy Nayev, the Commanding Officer of the Joint Forces Operation.

The crew members performed adequately.

Currently, the missile launchers are staying far away from the engagement line in the combat zone, which is foreseen by Minsk agreement. However, the weapons can be deployed in the combat zone if necessary.

On Sunday, February 3, the Ukrainian military reported nine cases of ceasefire violations in Donbas. The Joint Forces Operation HQ stated this, adding that the occupant forces have twice used the Minsk-banned weaponry.

The troops of operative and tactical group East took fire in Pavlopol and Novoselivka. The enemy used heavy machine guns and grenade launchers. The operative and tactical group North undertook the enemy attacks in Krymske, Khutir Vilny, Zolote-4, Zaitsevo, Luhanske and Novotoshkivske.

In Krymske, the enemy fired 82 mm mines. On all other occasions, the arsenal of used weaponry included grenade launchers of various kinds, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.
