Explosions and shooting from small arms took place near the patrol of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) in Donbas. This is stated in the mission report.
"On June 23, in the government-controlled Zolote-4 settlement, the SMM patrol consisting of six officers on two armored vehicles was stationed in the residential area, about 300 m north of the site of the dilution of forces and means in the vicinity of Zolote (60 km north-west of Luhansk.) All members of the patrol were not in cars. In 10:38 in less than one minute they heard intense fire from small arms (about 50-100 shots), 2 explosions assesed as mortar rounds of 82 mm caliber, and 3 rounds from an automatic grenade launcher - all at a distance of about 100 m to the south-east ", the report says.
It is added that soon after this the SMM team heard 3-4 shots from a large-caliber machine gun followed by numerous shots from small arms 150-200 m to the southeast.
"At least one bullet, which, according to observers, was released from the south-east direction, whistled especially clearly and flew over their heads so low that they had to duck," the report says.
