Explosion takes place near OSCE patrol in Donbas

The explosion took place from a distance less than 300 meters from the OSCE SMM observers not far from Petrovske, Luhansk region as it is stated in the OSCE report.

'On May 30, at 10:22, the OSCE patrol consisting of six workers of the mission at two armored cars came to the location of the SMM camera situated outside the disengagement of forces and equipment area near Petrovske', the message said.

Then, at 10:58, the members of the patrol were in two cars with the open doors and heard the whistling sound and then the explosion. They have also seen dark-grey smoke rising from the abandoned brick agricultural building in 200-300 meters to south-west.

According to the SMM, the explosion took place in the result of the 82-mm mine's burst.

'The mission's patrol has immediately left this region and successfully returned to the base in Donetsk', the message said.

As we reported the OSCE SMM in Donbas reported an attack on their observers in Donetsk region. No casualties were reported. According to the OSCE, the fire was opened from the residential quarters in Horlivka, Donetsk region.
