Explosion on school territory in Toretsk, one injured

Because of a bomb detonation, a guard of a not-operating school in Toretsk, Donetsk region, suffered from numerous shrapnel wounds, as the National Police in Donetsk press service informs.

At around 3:30 pm, Toretsk police unit received information about an explosion device detonating on the territory of the school #15, Zalizne town, near Toretsk.

The police immediately went to the site. During the inspection it was found that the school is situated in the close proximity to the front line and is closed since the fighting started.

“Preliminary it is reported that a 30-year-old man wanted to enter the building through the door, when an explosion happened. The victim is now at the hospital, where he is receiving first aid. The diagnosis is being specified,” the police informed.

Bomb techs and a cynologist with a police dog from an investigative group of the Toretsk police unit are searching the explosion site. The circumstances of the incident are being specified.
