Members of the European Parliament will hold debates on the latest developments in Ukraine. This is mentioned in the curriculum posted on the website of the Parliament.
The session will begin on Wednesday afternoon. The actual issues related to Ukraine will be considered closer to the end of the session.
In July, the European Parliament upheld the resolution, in which it urged Russia to release Ukrainian political prisoners.
The current line-up of the European Parliament has been working since the election in May 2019.
50 MEPs from six factions in the previous composition of the Parliament joined the informal group of "Friends of European Ukraine".
