The EU-Ukraine project called ‘Support for migration management and shelters in Ukraine’ was presented in Kyiv today. The initiative offered by the EU is worth 27.2 million Euros; it implies creation of an integrated information system of managing migration processes across the country, monitoring of migration dynamics and further support of reforms of the relevant authorities in Ukraine.

‘This is the largest EU project for migration control that we’ve ever implemented in the Eastern Partnership countries. We will allocate the costs throughout the next three years, so that we can start implementing this initiative in Ukraine,’ said Hugh Mingarelli, the Head of the EU Delegation in Ukraine.
