"The recent escalation of violence in the east of Ukraine and its impact on the civilian population is a major concern. All civilians should be helped on both sides of the line of contact. Our new package will help partners in the humanitarian operations in eastern Ukraine to cover the immediate needs of housing, medicines and water supply. It is essential that all the aid will be received by the conflict-affected people quickly, safely and fairly", Stylianides said.
