The European Union noted that the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) still has no access to prisoners in the uncontrolled territories of Donbas as Ukrinform reported citing EU statement concerning Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and illegal occupation of Crimea.

“We repeat our urge for further progress in the issue of new disengagement areas, checkpoints, mine clearance and a prisoner swap. Concerning the last issue, we regret that the ICRC still has no access to people kept in the territories uncontrolled by the government,” the European diplomats said.
