The "nationalized" enterprises located on the occupied territory of Donetsk region will probably be transferred to the administration of business structures of fugitive Ukrainian businessman Serhiy Kurchenko. This became clear from the intercepted telephone conversation between the "DPR" leader Alexander Zakharchenko and Russian citizen nicknamed "Seriy" published by the Security Service of Ukraine.
One can hear from the audio recording that fugitive Ukrainian oligarch plans to take all key and profitable enterprises in Donetsk under his control. As Zakharchenko says during the conversation, he will be left with loss-making companies, complaining about such decision to his Russian interlocutor.
"It is clear that the taxes from the enterprises "nationalized" as a result of trade blockade will not reach Ukrainian budget, but all the income will be found in the pocket of Ukrainian ex-president Yanukovych," the press service of SBU says.
As it was reported earlier, the self-proclaimed authorities of the “Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics” intend to introduce an “external management” of Ukraine-run enterprises in Donbas.
Fugitive ex-Minister of Revenue and Duties of Ukraine Oleksandr Klymenko and businessman Serhiy Kurchenko caused $7.43 billion losses to Ukraine. Serhiy Kurchenko left for Russia after Euromaidan events. In April 2014 Kurchenko was put on the international wanted list.
