A Ukrainian serviceman was killed by an enemy sniper's bullet in the area of Zaitseve in Donbas. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG).
"Today, on February 11, at about 9:30 am, a sniper of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation seriously wounded a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Horlivka," reads the message.
According to the HQ, the soldier received a gunshot wound. He was immediately provided with first aid, but, unfortunately, the serviceman died from injuries during the evacuation to the hospital.
The Ukrainian side has already sent a note to the OSCE SMM.
As we reported earlier, according to Arsen Avakov, Ukraine's Interior Minister, the combat situation in the country has worsened and the peace process stopped.
"There is no peace process here anymore. Mortar strikes and sniper activity are observed. The war is going on," Avakov said.
That is why President Volodymyr Zelensky was forced to send Ruslan Khomchak, Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine's Armed Forces.
