The State Emergency Service received permission to examine and demine the territory of power lines in Avdiivka and conduct repair works. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during the government meeting, reports the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
“Two pyrotechnic crews will demine the area and two emergency brigades will conduct works to restore electricity,” he said.
Repair brigades have already started repair works, according to the Emergency Service.
It is reported that heating is provided centrally through thermal station on natural gas; coolants temperature in the heating system is 50 °C, so the temperature in flats is 15 °C.
Water for Avdiivka residents is delivered 2 times in 24 hours. Both drinking and technical water is provided for the residents.
There are 11 warming centers in the city, where over 2000 already turned for help. Three field kitchens are also working.
260 people and 60 equipment units are involved in restoration works.
Earlier it was reported that the State Emergency Service helps civilians in Avdiivka under attacks. The Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) Mykola Chechetkin reported at the Cabinet meeting.
