The settlements of the Donetsk region Travneve and Hladosove were connected to the power grid after the shelling. The head of Donetsk Regional Administration Pavlo Zhebrivsky said this on his Facebook page on January 5.
According to him, after the damage to the power lines as a result of the shelling, electricity supply was restored before the New Year. The first connection was made on December 28.
"But the Russian orcs probably do not like the fact that the life of the residents who have been under their so-called "authority" for a long time is getting better, and on January 2 snipers damaged the insulation and the wires," Zhebrivsky said and added that it took several days, to receive security guarantees for a team of electricians.
In the end, the damaged equipment in two villages was replaced and the electricity was restored.
"For the second day, Travneve and Hladosove do not need generators," he summed up.
As it was reported earlier Fourteen schoolchildren from the suburbs of the occupied Horlivka (Donetsk region) went to Bryansk, Russia, for New Year school plays and other related events. The local press informs that the group will be accompanied by two teachers.
Another group of thirty children and two teachers came to Voronezh for similar events; they will be staying there until December 29.
