The court in Moldova imposed the sentence of arrest for eight citizens for the participation in the Donbas Conflict at the side of the pro-Russian militants. Eduard Harunjen, the Prosecutor General claimed this as Reuters reported.
He emphasized that the citizens of Moldova working in Russia can be involved in the Donbas Conflict.
'This is when brothers, fathers and husbands go away to work in eastern countries and there they are recruited into military groups. Sometimes they die there and sometimes they come home, but their hands are bloodied', he said.
According to Harunjen, the convicted in this case will face different terms of the imprisonment. At the moment, another 25 citizens of Moldova are on the international wanted list due to the connection to the Donbas Conflict.
As we reported the group of the mercenaries from Serbia arrived in occupied Donbas and joined the joins the militants of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
