“The SMM continued to facilitate the establishment of a local ceasefire regime and monitored its adherence to the possibility of repairing, equipping and maintaining vital civilian infrastructure,” the report said.
Between 29 June and 12 July, the SMM reportedly recorded some 5,200 ceasefire violations, in particular an estimated 1,700 explosions, versus some 8,700 violations and some 4,700 explosions in the previous two weeks.
“The SMM noted the calm situation in the disengagement area in the Stanytsia Luhanska area, then recorded the presence of people in the disengagement areas in the Zolote and Petrivske areas. In addition, the SMM discovered new continuation of the positions of the armed formations in the disengagement area in the Petrovskoye area, within which a violation of the cease-fire regime was recorded," the report says.
It is noted that the Mission also facilitated repair work on power lines that supply power to about 300,000 civilians on both sides of the contact line in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
