Police of the Netherlands detained Ukrainian citizen who carried almost three million euros in his car.

According to NOS, 'the police detained a man from Ukraine in Landgraaf municipality, as they found almost 3,000,000 euros in cash in his car". The precise amount of cash makes 2,947,750 euros. The money was packed in three bags.

The actual event took place in early March, but the police released the information just now; the man was set free, but the investigation is still underway.

Earlier, we reported that 12 EU member states were offered to buy non-existent coronavirus vaccines for more than 14 billion euros. Law enforcers were able to prevent fraud. This was announced by the director of the European Anti-Fraud Bureau Ville Itälä, reports Yle.

The official that none of the criminals had been successful. The case is now being investigated in Finland, the official cannot yet disclose who exactly offered to buy non-existent vaccines. The perpetrators are associated with organized crime and operate from third countries. They offered the EU as a whole a billion coronavirus vaccines that never existed.
