Drone of Russia’s FSB crashes in Donetsk region

Ukrainian army servicemen discovered wreckage of a Russian drone in the combat area in Donbas. The actual device crashed in Donetsk region, not far from Svitlodarske, on April 2. However, Ukraine’s Defence Ministry reported that just now – after due expertise was conducted.

The device proved to be Granat-1 drone, which is a part of Navodchik-2 reconnaissance complex. It is made in Russia and used exclusively by Russia’s armed forces, the Ministry’s spokesman Yaroslav Chepurny reported.

According to him, some of the drone’s wreckage had markings of Russia’s FSB, federal security service, on it. Besides, Chepurny added, the experts found out that the drone could have been used for adjusting artillery fire.
