The self-proclaimed "Donetsk People's Republic" declared their intention to transfer two prisoners to the Ukrainian side on December 27 in the morning. This was reported in the militants’ news agency.

"At 9 a.m. the transfer of two prisoners to the Ukrainian side will be held as an act of good will," the statement said.

In its statement, the militants said they considered Savchenko a "representative of the adequate part of the Ukrainian people" and as a "goodwill gesture" ready to release two women - Angelica Presnyakova and Olga Svorak.

At the same time the statement said that Kyiv supposedly can not perform the "Minsk-2" in exchange part.

Sister Vera Savchenko confirmed the transfer in the comment to "Ukrainian News". "I confirm it to you (transfer)," she said.

It is noteworthy that there is no information about Angelica Presnyakova in the open sources, but Olga Svorak is known as a journalist of "Voice of the People of Ivano-Frankivsk" and "Golos-info". Her arrest by "LPR" militants became known in June 2016.
