The so-called "DPR" limited the import of products brought by the citizens from the Ukrainian side to 50 kg per person. This was stated in the report of the OSCE SMM.
Thus, the representative of the Border Service of Ukraine reported to OSCE that in November 2016 the maximum weight of products authorized for importation into the uncontrolled territory was increased from 50 to 75 kg per person. However, later on the "DPR" checkpoint observers reported several cars in the queue for entry and exit.
"Armed militants’ representative told the mission that every citizen can bring no more than 50 kg of products in the "DPR" controlled areas," the statement said.
The population of the temporarily occupied parts of Donbas is also upset because of wages arrears and low-quality products from the Russian Federation.
