”DPR” leader intends to negotiate about handing over Donetsk region to militants

The leader of the "DPR" Alexander Zakharchenko announced his intention to negotiate on the question of transfer of the whole Donetsk region to militants, including the controlled by Ukraine part, reports TASS.

Pro-Russian militants will discuss this issue in the case if the Minsk agreements are fulfilled, according to Zakharchenko.

"We will negotiate so that the results of the referendum are adopted throughout the whole Donetsk region ... This is the main task of “Minsk-2” – to move on to these negotiations," Zakharchenko said.

The Speaker of the Ministry of Defense on ATO Andriy Lysenko confirmed today that militants pulled "Grads" to the Svitlodarsk bulge area, where the situation has not yet stabilized.

Earlier it was reported that Poroshenko urged Russia to ensure ceasefire during holidays. "Silence regime" have started on December 24 at 12 midnight.
