Donetsk water filtration plant to resume water supplies to Avdiivka on September 12

The power converter has been fixed; the plant is ready for full-fledged operation

Donetsk water filtration plant may get back to work on September 12; the water supplies across Avdiivka will be restored. The press office of the State Emergency Service's branch in Donetsk region. 

'On September 11, the maintenance works were complete. The launch of Donetsk filtering station is slated for September 12', reads the message. 

The authority reminded that the Chief Department of the Service brought 12,000 liters of drinking water and 18,000 liters of technical water to Avdiivka. Another 12,000 liters of technical water were brought to the city by the representatives of municipal services.

Previously, on September 6, Donetsk filtering station was cut off the electricity grid due to the bad weather conditions; the water supplies temporarily ceased, too. The maintenance works were supposed to start on September 8, provided the security guarantees are given.
