Donetsk People’s Republic confirms detaining of ‘Ukrainian saboteurs’

The self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic confirmed detaining of Ukrainian servicemen claiming them to be ‘saboteurs’. The press service of the occupants DAN reported this.

The report emphasized that an explosive and the documents of the armed forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

“Today the diversion intelligence group has been detained in the framework of the successful mission of the National Militia of the Donetsk People’s Republic. The uniform, automobile plates, and documents of the National Militia sample, as well as explosives,  were seized from the soldiers. The investigative measures have been ongoing concerning the detainees,” the report said.

The number of detainees has not been reported.

As we reported earlier, eight servicemen of the Ukrainian military ended up in captivity in Donbas. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that on May 22.

'This morning, eight servicemen of the Armed Forces from the line-up of the Joint Forces were moving in the area of Novotroitske, riding a truck; they lost the designated route and ended up in the temporarily occupied territory, where they were detained by militants of the armed units of the Russian Federation', reads the report.
