Several explosions occurred at the filtration station near Donetsk last night, on June 4. The Ministry of Temporarily Occupied Territories and IDPs reported that in Twitter.

“A severe fight is underway in the area of Donetsk filtration station, the staff takes cover in a bomb shelter,” reads the message.

As we reported earlier, The Donetsk Filtration Station has resumed its work after the shelling by pro-Russian militants on May 17.

Another attack on Donetsk filtering station led to the shutdown of the facility; the shelling was observed on late May 17. According to the State Emergencies Service, the switch room took fire; the damage resulted in the station shutting down.

Earlier the OSCE SMM observers refused to accompany the personnel of the station and the workers stayed there for the second day.

As we reported the militants shelled the convoy of the filtration station's workers. Five workers suffered, one of them is in the serious condition. On April 18, Donetsk Filtration Station has stopped its work and the supply of the drinking water was stooped to Avdiivka, partially to Donetsk and Yasynuvata, Chervony Partyzan, Kruta Balka and Verkhnyotoretske villages.
