Another attack on Donetsk filtering station led to the shutdown of the facility; the shelling was observed on late May 17.

According to the State Emergencies Service, the switch room took fire; the damage resulted in the station shutting down.

The filtering station provides water supplies for 22,000 people in the war-torn Avdiivka. Currently, the regular water supplies come from the local water storages.

The maintenance works are scheduled for today.

Earlier tonight, the Russian militants shelled Troitske (Luhansk region), which led to casualties among civilians.
