One Ukrainian soldier sustained an injury in action in Donbas combat zone. The press service of the Ministry of Defense reported this.
As of 12:00, June 8, four violations of the ceasefire regime have been registered. According to the report, the occupants carry on using 122 mm artillery.
“The Russia-backed militants opened fire twice with 122 mm artillery systems near Vodyane and Lebedynske settlements today in the morning. At 7:20 a.m., the enemy cast 65 shells and 28 shots fired by a tank near Vodyane settlement, and 53 shells of 122 mm caliber at the Ukrainian positions near Lebedynske village,” the report said.
Besides, the attacks have been recorded near Shyrokyne and Krasnohorivka settlements, where they fired with mortars.
One serviceman of the Joint Forces operation was wounded during the attack, and now is being provided with the medical aid.
According to the Ministry, the occupants violated the ceasefire regime 28 in Donbas over 24 hours, including three times with the Minsk-banned weaponry. Two Ukrainian soldiers died and five more were wounded.
