Donbas war: One Ukrainian soldier dies

Pro-Russian militants performed 13 attacks in Donbas, they used Minsk-banned weapons seven times. One Ukrainian soldier died, as the press center of Joint Forces Operation (JFO) reported on Facebook.

“On April 8, armed formations of the Russian Federation shot at the positions of the Armed Forces 13 times, they used Minsk-banned arms with 40 artillery rounds of 122mm caliber and 31 mortar shells of 82mm caliber,” the message reads.

Besides, the enemy fired at our defenders from anti-tank missile systems, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms.

In Donetsk sector, the occupants performed eight attacks near Vodyane, Pisky, Avdiivka, Opytne, Lebedysnke, Kamyanka, and Verkhnyotoretske.

In Luhansk sector, the enemy has shot five times near Novotoshkivske, Krymske, Zolote-4, and Luhanske.

One Ukrainian serviceman died.

Earlier, on April 7, the militants have violated ceasefire in Donbas ten times. They used banned weapons four times.
