Russia-backed militants violated the ceasefire regime 10 times using the Minsk-banned weaponry in the Donbas combat zone on April 24. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports this.

According to the report, the enemy fired the Ukrainian positions with grenade launchers of the various systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms.

In the Donetsk region, the pro-Kremlin militants fired the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Mykolaivka, Novohnativka and Vodiane settlements.

In the Luhansk region, the occupant opened fire six times near Troitske, Novozvanivka, Popasna, Shymy, and Luhanske villages.

No casualties have been spotted among the Joint Forces operation soldiers.

As we reported, Ukrainian soldier Yuriy Konovod died in Donbas combat zone.

The tragedy happened on April 23 at around 12:45 pm. The man came under the enemy’s fire, occupants’ bullet killed him.

According to Zmist news agency, the died soldier was a volunteer. Before joining the ranks of the Armed Forces he was a history teacher. Konovod fought in Afghanistan and then he told his students that he would go protect Ukraine to the front.
