Donbas war: Occupant fires with Minsk-banned weaponry at residential houses in Chermalyk

The occupant fired the houses of Chermalyk village in Donbas combat zone. The enemy used the mortar, as the press service of the JFO (HQ) reported.

The OSCE observers spotted the gunshot residue in Chermalyk village during the monitoring of territories 300 meters far from the demarcation line. The traces were found on the wall of the building 15 meters far from the residential house. According to the report, the damage was inflicted by the enemy’s shelling with the special weaponry.

The observers noticed the fire began at the place, where a wooden building used to be. The owner of the house stated that at first, he heard the shots (at that moment he was in the house), and then noticed how the wooden building caught fire.

Subsequently, it was found out that the occupants fired with 7.62 mm mortar while using shells, from which the fire caught the wooden building.

As a result of the attack, no casualties have been spotted.
