Occupants used weapons with a banned caliber

Over the past 24 hours, militants violated ceasefire 12 times and used Minsk-banned weapons, as Joint Forces Operation HQ reported.

In Donetsk sector, occupants performed eight attacks at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The enemy fired three times from IFVs, rocket-propelled grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms near Vodyane; from grenade launchers of various systems and small arms near Bohdanivkal from rocket-propelled grenade launchers near Novotroitske; from mounted grenade launchers and small arms near Pishchevyk; from rocket-propelled grenades near Talakivka; from heavy machine guns near Novohryhorivka.

In Luhansk sector, occupants attacked the positions of the Ukrainian servicemen four times. The enemy fired from 82mm mortar, rocket-propelled grenade launchers and heavy machine guns near Staryi Aidar; from 82mm mortars near Krymske; twice from automatic small arms and sniper weapons near Zolote.

As a result of enemy’s attacks, one Ukrainian serviceman died, one more sustained wounds.
