Ukrainian serviceman was promptly taken to a medical institution

Ukrainian soldier from the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) was wounded as a result of an explosion on an unknown explosive device in Donbas. Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that via Facebook.

"Today, on February 12, near Pavlopil village, as a result of an explosion on an unknown explosive device, a soldier from the Joint Forces has been wounded," the message says.

It is noted that the Ukrainian serviceman was provided with medical assistance, he was promptly taken to a medical institution.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated by the working group of the military law enforcement service and the command of the unit.

Yesterday, February 11, a sniper attack took place near Zaitseve, Luhansk region. Ukrainian soldier deceased due to the gunshot wound that he suffered during the skirmish.

According to the message, Oleksandr Hlushko, the serviceman who died used to serve with the combat engineering squad. Hlushko was wounded by an enemy sniper and died on his way to the hospital. 

Illegal armed units of Russian occupants also opened fire near Vodyane, Donetsk region, using a man-portable anti-tank grenade launcher.
