On July 8, pro-Kremlin mercenaries landed 11 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas. Another four ceasefire violations occurred on early July 9. During the last 24 hours, one Ukrainian serviceman lost his life, and another one got wounded, Joint Forces Operation HQ reported.
"On July 8, 11 ceasefire violations were observed", reads the message.
In the area of Opytne, the militants opened fire from heavy machine guns; in Novozvanivka, they also used grenade launchers and small arms. 120 mm mines hit Nevelske and Prychepylivka.
On early July 9, the enemy allwed four ceasefire violations. The positions near Nevelske, for example, took damage from 122 mm artillery. Mortars were also used in the attacks on Novoazovske and Pisky.
