Russian militants have landed new attacks on Ukrainian military emplacements in Donbas since the beginning of Monday. The press office of Ukraine's Defense Ministry reported that in the afternoon of September 7.
The shelling did not result in any casualties among Ukrainian servicemen. The enemy used small arms and an RPG; the latter was used in the area of Kamyanka, Donetsk region.
As we reported, over the last 24 hours, Russian militants landed Ukrainian positions in Donbas twice. One Ukrainian serviceman deceased, another one suffered an injury in combat, Joint Forces Operation HQ reported.
The enemy used automatic grenade launchers to attack positions near Krasnohorivka (Donetsk region), and small arms to open fire near Prychepylivka (Luhansk region).
Near Shumy, Donetsk region, the enemy also initiated provocative shooting from grenade launchers.
Earlier, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba initiated the urgent meeting with his Russian colleague Sergei Lavrov - amidst the escalation that is observed in Donbas. Kuleba himself posted that on Facebook.
