Since the beginning of the day, Russian occupants opened fire in Donbas, attacking Ukrainian positions twice. Press office of Ukraine's Defense Ministry reported that on November 9.
In the area of Opytne, illegal armed formations opened fire from small arms. Not far from Novoolexandrivka, the enemy opened fire from heavy machine guns and grenade launchers of various systems.
Ukrainian servicemen suffered no losses in these attacks.
As is known, Ukrainian law enforcers identified 45 members of the criminal group that tortured Ukrainian prisoners in Donetsk prison called "Izolyatsia". Denys Monastyrsky, the Healthcare Minister reported that on his Facebook page.
"When the inmates from Izolyatsia returned to Ukraine, the police talked to every victim of militants. Do you know what they did to them? They were electrocuted through their genitals. They were put in coffins and had nails hammered in these coffins. They were raped. They had their bones broken. They were taken on a simulated shootouts. And a lot of other scary things", the minister wrote.
He added that the police eventually identified 45 culprits involved in these crimes. In September, materials against eight war criminals were handed over to the court for trial in absentia.
