Since the beginning of the day, July 24, Russian mercenaries landed three adjusted attacks on positons of the Joint Forces. The enemy used 120 mm mortars banned by Minsk agreement, Ukraine's Defense Ministry reported.
All three attacks took place in Starohnativka. The enemy opened fire from mortars, grenade launchers, small arms and IFVs. 28 mines hit Ukrainian emplacements in this area.
According to the current data, none of Ukrainian servicemen were wounded or killed in action. The enemy casualties are being specified.
On July 23, Russian militants opened fire eight times. No casualties were reported.
"This document is now pending to be signed by all sides of the Normandy group. I believe that all sides (...) will sign it, and I hope that since July 27, a moment of stable ceasefire may come", Zelensky said.
At the same time, the Ukrainian leader claimed that the reached agreements do not deprive Ukrainian soldiers of the opportunity to defend themselves.
