On January 16, the pro-Kremlin militants violated the ceasefire regime in Donbas four times. Five Ukrainian soldiers were wounded, and another five have received battle injuries, as the Headquarters of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) reported on Facebook.
The hostile forces fired the missile launchers near Troitske village; the automatic grenade launchers near Pivdenne village; they shelled Ukrainian soldiers using grenade launchers, small arms near Chermalyk village and our positions near Novoselivka Druha village82-mm using mortar launchers.
“As a result of the illicit actions of the Russian-occupation troops, five soldiers of the Joint Forces Operation sustained injuries of varying degrees of severity and another five sustained battle injuries,” the message said.
The Ukrainian forces used the on-call firing means. The losses of the enemy would be specified later.
On January 15, the Russian mercenaries attacked positions of Ukrainian troops in Donbas twice.
Earlier, we reported that the combat actions in Donbas took the life of Mykola Semeniuk, the Junior Sergeant of the 72nd Detached Motorized Brigade.
