Over the last 24 hours, the Russia-backed rebels have launched 38 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas. Most of the fire traditionally was concentrated in the Mariupol sector. In Shyrokyne, the enemy fired 120 mm mortars and heavy 152 mm artillery; in Starohnativka, they opened fire from IFV guns. Taramchuk, Vodyane and Talakivka were shelled from 120 mm mortars. 82 mm mines hit the outposts near Krasnohorivka.
In the Donetsk sector, militants used 82 mm mortars to open fire on Ukrainian positions in Zaitseve and Avdiivka. Small arms, RPGs and heavy machineguns were used during attacks on Troitske, Verkhnyotoretske and Kamyanka.
5 attacks took place in Luhansk region. In Novoolexandrivka, the enemy fired an anti-tank missile launcher; in Lopaskyne and Krymske, they fired grenade launchers, in Nozozvanivka 120 mm mortars, and in Troitske – 82 mm mortars.
