Donbas: Russian militants use drone to drop grenade on Ukrainian positions, two servicemen wounded

Pro-Kremlin mercenaries used an UAV to drop a VOG-17, the rocket-propelled grenade on the positions of Joint Forces. The action resulted in injuries of two Ukrainian servicemen.

According to the HQ of the Joint Forces Operation, both warriors have been taken to hospital. Their health conditions are satisfactory. 

The incident took place Vodyane in Donetsk region. 

An OSCE mission received the report about the attack.

On January 28, pro-Kremlin militants landed two attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that on Thursday.

Both skirmishes took place in Vodyane, Donetsk region. Illegal armed units of the Russian Federation opened fire on Ukrainian positions, using 120 mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms.  Ukrainian forces opened fire in return. The OSCE observers received a report about the ceasefire breaches.

Ukrainian troops took no casualties.
