A ceasefire case occurred in Donbas, involving a threat to the lives of civilians. Pro-Kremlin mercenaries opened fire from 82 mm mortars and automatic grenade launchers. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that on April 9.

A rocket-propelled grenade fired from AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher exploded in the yard of a local resident. No casualties were observed; shell fragments hit the windows and the rooftop.

The authority admitted that by firing in the populated area, the armed gangs put the lives of locals in danger. Thus, the units of the Ukrainian military returned fire to suppress the enemy activity.
