Since Tuesday afternoon, Ukraine’s government troops have suffered no casualties in the conflict zone. Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, the spokesman of Ukraine’s defense ministry said that at a briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.

‘None of the Ukrainian servicemen were killed or wounded in the conflict area over the last 24 hours,’ he said.

On Wednesday afternoon, Ukraine's military TV reported that Russian militants used a phosphorous mine to attack Ukrainian positions near Novoselivka, Donetsk region; one of the 18 mines that they fired hit the area near the bunker and kept on burning for another three hours. The shell did not hit the bunker itself, so fighters avoided casualties.
