Donbas: Russian mercenaries use 122 mm artillery to shell Ukrainian positions

Since the beginning of the day, December 22, Russian mercenaries landed eight attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas combat zone. Press office of the Joint Forces Operation reported that on Tuesday evening.

Near Vodyane, Donetsk region, the enemy used weaponry banned by Minsk agreements, namely 122 mm artillery. Later, the militants opened fire from grenade launchers of various systems.

The occupants also planted landmines remotely, on Ukrainian positions near Vodyane. 

Pro-Kremlin proxies also opened fire from 82 mm and 120 mm mortars, not far from Luhanske and Pivdenne. Besides, they initiated a skirmish in Pivdenne, firing from heavy machine guns and small arms.

None of Ukrainian soldiers were wounded or killed in action.

As we reported, a service center opened at Novotroitske checkpoint in Donetsk region. According to Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov, all citizens of Ukraine on either side of the contact line will be able to get social and administrative services, legal aid and use Nova Poshta and Oschadbank services at the service center.
