Pro-Kremlin militants went for another provocation in Donbas; they used a drone to plant the landmine on the territory adjacent to Ukrainian positions. Press office of the State Border Guard reported that on Wednesday.

"The occupants conducted remote wiring of the roadway corridior at Mayorske checkpoint", reads the message.

At about 5 a.m. April 13, the border guards spotted a hostile UAV flying towards the checkpoint. A POM-2 landmine was planted close to the checkpoint. The mine was successfully detected, isolated and defused.

Border Guards explain that such action puts lives of civilians in danger and leads to escalation of tensions in the combat area.
