February, 27, Russian-backed militants violated the ceasefire regime seven times, and four times they used Minsk-banned weaponry in Donbas conflict zone. As a result of the attack, on Ukrainian soldier was wounded. The Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ reported this on Facebook.
The JFO stated, that the enemy fired 32 shells of 122 mm, 120 mm, and 82 mm calibers over 24 hours. Four missiles were launched at the positions of the Joint Forces operation. One sniper was spotted.
In the East operational group action zone, the hostile fire was opened four times near Vodiane, Chermalyk, and Hnutove settlements. In the North group area, the enemy attacked our positions three times near Krymske and Novoluhanske villages.
One Ukrainian soldier was wounded as a result of the attack by the Russian militants. The enemy’s casualties have been checking yet.
As we reported earlier, pro-Russian militants from Luhansk region stated about the capture of a soldier of Ukraine’s Armed Forces. Allegedly, the militants shelled them and Ukrainian “saboteurs” retreated. As a result of the attack, one Ukrainian soldier became disoriented due to the concussion and was captured by the militants.
Ukrainian side refuted this information.
