Over the past day, on July 9, 13 violations of ceasefire have been recorded in Donbas, and five more have been recorded since the beginning of the current day, July 10. The day before, as a result of shelling, a serviceman was killed, three more were injured. It was reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO).
"Over the past day, July 9, some 13 ceasefire violations were recorded in the area of the Joint Forces Operation," the message reads.
As a result of enemy shelling, one soldier from the Joint Forces was injured incompatibly with life. In addition, one soldier was wounded, two more got combat injuries.
The soldiers were taken to a hospital. Their health condition is satisfactory.
Meanwhile, the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission claimed that the situation in the areas of division of forces in Donbas has worsened. The tendency has been observed during the last two weeks, said Heidi Grau, the Special Representative of OSCE Chairman in Ukraine.
"Over the last two weeks, the number of ceasefire violations has been increasing. The overall number of violations grows, and the security situation in areas of division of forces has been worsening", Grau said.
According to the official, the SMM reported that the freedom of movement is restricted, and surveillance equipment has been repeatedly damaged.
