Donbas: One Ukrainian soldier dies over 24 hours

On Monday, March 18, one Ukrainian soldier died in the Donbas conflict zone. The press service of JFO (HQ) reports this on Facebook

“The enemy attacked the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the North-group operation: with 120 mm and 82 mm mortar near Katerynivka settlement, twice with sniper and small arms, and heavy machine guns, and then with 82 mm mortar as well as with automatic easel grenade launchers near Khutir Vilnyi settlement. One Ukrainian serviceman died because of the attack of the Russian Armed Forces”, - the report said.

Earlier, over the last 24 hours, the armed provocations of Russian occupants in Donbas claimed the lives of two servicemen of Ukraine's government troops.

The Defense Ministry confirmed that on Sunday, March 17 the enemy launched 10 armed provocations.

According to military intelligence, the Russian occupants also took casualties over the mentioned period.

In Donetsk region, the armed bandits attacked Vodyane, using mortars, automatic grenade launchers, and heavy machine guns. 120 mm mines hit Mariinka.
