Over the past 24 hours, Russian militants attacked the Ukrainian army emplacements in Donbas, which resulted in the deadly injury for one Ukrainian soldier. The HQ of the Joint Forces Operation reported that on Tuesday evening.
'Unfortunately, the enemy fire resulted in the death of one Ukrainian warrior, and one more suffered injuries', the Facebook post says.
The enemy opened fire from RPGs and small arms, attacking the positions of Ukraine's Armed Forces in the areas of Kamyanka, Avdiivka, Hnutove, Shyrokyne and Vodyane. A sniper fired at Ukrainian positions in Zalizne', the HQ of the Joint Forces Operation added.
On July 16, the militants violated ceasefire five times in the Donbas conflict zone. One time they used Minsk-banned weapons.
Earlier, over the past 24 hours, the militants violated ceasefire 29 times in Donbas. As a result of the combat actions, one Armed Forces soldier was injured.
On July 14, pro-Russian militants shelled the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine five times; one soldier was injured. The enemy once used weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements. Russian mercenaries opened fire from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms at positions of the joint forces in the areas of Krymske, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka. Attacking the defenders of Shyrokyne, the invaders used a 120-mm mortar.
