A group of Russian saboteurs tried to penetrate the defense lines of the Ukrainian troops in Donbas. The incident occurred in the Svitlodarsk area, Donetsk region, on February 17. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that on Facebook.
The Ukrainian fighters managed to spot the enemy just in time. The enemy assault was repelled, and one of the occupants was captured. He is currently interviewed by the Joint Forces Operation units.
Several hours before that, the pro-Kremlin mercenaries attacked the patrol vehicle of the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC). They used a stationary grenade launcher to attack the area of Dolomytne-Travneve.
'The grenade fired by the militants hit the ground at about one meter from the left side of the car with the JCCC logo. By pure miracle, none of the people inside were wounded', the HQ reported.
