On July 23, pro-Kremlin armed mercenaries attacked Ukrainian positions in Donbas just once. They did not use the heavy-caliber weapons, Joint Forces Operation HQ reported.
The enemy opened fire near Luhanske, using automatic grenade launchers and small arms.
None of the Ukrainian defenders were killed or wounded in action.
The "full and bilateral ceasefire" began in the combat area on July 21. This is due to the agreement of the parties to the Minsk talks group (Ukraine, OSCE and Russia). The respective document bans all kinds of fire in the combat zone; however, Russian occupants tend to breach the ceasefire.
