No ceasefire violations occurred in Donbas since the early hours of Friday, September 4. Press office of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine reported that, specifying that the data was correct as of Friday noon.
None of the Ukrainian servicemen were wounded or killed in the combat zone.
The ceasefire has been holding for more than 24 hours now.
Earlier, the UN reported that some 13,000 people deceased in Donbas since April 2014, when the military action began there.
“The OHCHR estimates the total number of victims (the UN calls deceased and injured the victims) tied with the conflict in Ukraine (from April 2014 until July 31, 2020) in 42,000-44,000 people. 13,100-13,000 killed (at least 3,367 civilians, including 298 deceased at MH17 board on July 17, 2014; about 4,150 Ukrainian military) and 29,500-33,500 injured,” the message said.
According to the UN, during the whole period of the conflict, the victims among civilians make about 25-26% of the total amount of deaths related to the conflict. The same statistics concern injuries.
