None of the Ukrainian troops were killed or wounded in action in Donbas on Thursday, January 24. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that on Friday morning.
Over the said period, the Russian mercenaries opened fire on Ukrainian positions nine times. That included the use of weapons banned by Minsk agreements.
The enemy fired various kinds of grenade launchers in Vodyane, Hnutove, Chermalyk, Pavlopol and Mariinka (all in Donetsk region). 120 mm mines hit the vicinities of Krymske, Luhansk region.
On Thursday, five pro-Kremlin occupants were killed and one more were wounded, the Ukrainian military intelligence reports.
The enemy did not open fire since the morning of January 25.
On January 23, the Ukrainian servicemen managed to capture the enemy drone. It appeared to be Granat-2, the Russian-made UAV used for aerial reconnaissance and artillery fire adjustment. The Ukrainian troops used the jamming devices, making the drone land, then found and captured it.
